What are your operating hours?

We are open from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. We’re open 8 AM to 4 PM Saturday and Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.

What is included in a standard cleaning?

We try to pack as much value as possible in our cleanings; we love our customers and want to make sure everyone feels taken care of! Our normal, standard, cleaning includes the outside of all appliances (refrigerator, microwave, and oven), dusting and wiping of all surfaces – such as tables, countertops, desks, dressers etc. We also vacuum and mop (if applicable) all floors in the home (not including the basement).

Cleaning faucets, and sinks is also part of our normal cleaning service.

We pay great attention to the bathrooms and bedrooms of each home – as both places are heavily used – it’s important they are completely clean for you! We’re so good you’ll want us back the next day (and that can be arranged)!

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?

We bring our own cleaning supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Alternatively, we can use green products for the entire clean if you would prefer. Please let us know if you would prefer green cleaning services so we can plan for this.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Of course! You can select any and all extras during checkout. If you have already completed the booking form and would like to add some on simply respond to your confirmation email or log into your account and add any comments you would like to be applied to your service. If you have any questions or special requests that may not be listed, please email or call us so that we can accommodate you.

What happens if I cancel or reschedule within 24 hours?

We have a strict policy for cancelations in less than 24 hours of the service appointment time frame. Our team works incredibly hard to ensure each client is taken care of. This requires carefully planning the days ahead and unfortunately last minute cancelations or last minute rescheduling causes a big, negative, ripple effect throughout our current day and days ahead. In an effort to keep ALL customers happy, you will be charged a small fee for last minute cancellations/rescheduling:

Cancelations that are done in less than 24 hours of the service appointment time range will result in an automatic $75 cancelation fee charge

Rescheduling appointments in less than 24 hours of the service appointment time range will result in an automatic $50 cancelation fee charge

PRICING AND POLICIES

How can I view my Homestead Cleaning Solutions gift card?

Log into your account at https://modernmaidsdallas.launch27.com/login/ and you will see any outstanding gift cards and respective balances. In addition, you can see any referral rewards you have earned for referring a friend.

How do I refer a friend?

Log into your account and get your referral ID. Share this with friends. If a friend books through your referral ID, your friend automatically gets a $25 discount and you earn a $25 referral reward that can be applied to future service.`

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointments that are already completed.

Why are vouchers for first time customer only?

We want to provide a first time discount to everyone so they can see how awesome our service is!

Do you offer any other discounts?

Yes! We have Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and Weekly cleaning frequency discounts!

Always check your email and our website for the latest coupon discounts.

What is your refund policy?

If you’re not content with your cleaning please let us know! We will come out and re-clean (within a 7 day window) in order to make it right. We do not offer refunds.

TRUST AND SAFETY

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

All of our cleaners are interviewed and pass a nationwide detailed background check. Our cleaners are also insured and bonded so that you, your home, and your belongings are 1000% safe.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Yes they do. We run a detailed nationwide background check on ALL applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We have three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation ssl. Secondly our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe which is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it. That’s our promise to you!
